Medical-Legal Triage is the free, initial telephone screening of each case. This highly specialized task is handled personally by our Director, who has consulted with medical experts and attorneys on more than ten thousand complex medical-legal cases since 1992. With arguably more (and more varied) experience than anyone in this industry, he can help make the medicine more understandable, assess case merits/defenses, frame medical arguments, identify the specialty field(s) implicated, form methodical strategy, determine the requisite materials for review, detect dispositive issues and more. Many new clients are surprised at the depth of the 'quiz' during their first call. Clients come away more knowledgeable and better able to pursue and defend their cases. No matter what areas your case touches, Triage forms the basis for moving forward with assurance. Cost Control that Ultimately Rests with the Attorney It is our commitment that the cost of the initial review and verbal report fee will not exceed our minimum fee unless you agree to the exact total and do so in advance. That is, if the medical expert cannot review your case and provide a verbal report for the minimum fee, you will be told in advance of the exact balance. If you then choose to proceed, pay that exact balance; if you believe the total is too high, we will return your records along with a substantial refund.
